Industrial designer Jakob Berg graduated from the Royal Academy of Arts in Copenhagen 1987. Berg created furniture and industrial designs for many different companies around the world.

He has exhibited his designs in Danish and international design exhibitions and museums, and won several design awards, among others; Scandinavian Furniture Award 1991, CSMD's award 1995, "Bo Bedre" Special award 1996. He was honoured by The Danish States Art and Crafts Foundation for his exhibition 'Inside/Outside' 2007 in The Danish Design Centre.

Jakob Berg's furniture is necessary and thoughtful. He is known for his elegant, functional designs, and his interest for the environment. He always had in mind to minimise the material and to use local knowhow and materials.
